Synapse Wastegate

Anyone running one and have the tested hook up with a boost controller? I amm used to running it inline were as this on just has one line going in to it. I would think you would run a line to boost controller on "IN" then "OUT" to gate????

I run the WG, but don't quite understand what you just wrote as far as setup.

So how do you have yours run? Are you running a boost controller?

Head cold still, nothing I say makes any sense the last few days... lol....

Yes I'm running a boost controller, SARD unit.

Port A and B are controlled by the EBC and Port C see's a direct boost source.

What psi are you planning on running and what turbo setup do you have?

Boost will be upper 20's depending on the tuning out come. Turbo is a 4094r.

The above makes some sense, I just did not see in the owners manual were differant boost/vac sources went to what ports.

If you want upper 20's you will need both main and pre-load 60 lbs/in springs. Depending on back pressure and responsiveness you may need to go to the smaller valve opening piece and add a few turns of pre load. You will also most likely have to have the boost only source on port D instead of C. Go slow and in stages, the level of control with the Synapse WG is awesome, but you really need to fully understand it to get the full benefits of the design. Doing everything all at once will result in over boosting if your going into it blindly.
