are there pics of the manifold?

please explain what is done to the manifold...is it a hollowed out stock manifold for more flow...or is it a completely different custom manifold?

I run the m2 set right now...gt30 internals...was curious as to what the differences will be in regards to the manifold restriction and peak power numbers.

i like the m2 set tremendously. Im very happy with the spoolup time etc. I would be interested in seeing what the solution to the manifold problem was...and to what you expect the power range to be...both peak and reliably.

thanks'

we will not be using the stock manifold..the mainfold will be a tubular style each runner will have its own turbo.

Mercury - do you mean, what is the largest size GT turbo that doesn't have an internal wastegate?

<grin> I want to know the smallest size turbo that does not have an internal wastegate.

If I want to do a twin setup I dont want internal wastegates and I dont want to run two of the largest GT's series turbos. =']

The kits will come with GT25 or 28 turbo's depending on what your looking for, pricing is not set yet because the kit isn't finished yet. The turbos have integral wastgates, this should be a very responsive setup. I don't have any other info than that at this time.I will keep you informed

If I remember correctly the Gt28 is the smallest you can get without the integrated wastgate.

What about possibly using the HKS (Garrett) GT2835R's? No internal wastegates. Same as that bright facking orange SP Engineering car, I think.

But hey, I'm sure you guys got it all figured out, and know what's best for the kit. I'm just throwing it out there.

what wuold be the benefit of going with 2 turbos instead of one? wont splitting up the # of exhaust pulses hurt spool up time?

It takes less time to spool two small turbos rather than one large one. Also they can flow like a ****. =']

I would think going with external wastgates would cause a big increase in price, that's more than likely why they went with the integrated ones.

gt2835 is the smallest one without internal wastegate. if you want to use internal wastegate turbos go with the gt-rs they can push more hp than the internal wastegate 2835.
there is 14 different sized 2835 that push from 380 to 420hp
we have a car at the shop that has twin 3037 on a full bridge the response is very bad.
if i was going to do twins for drag i would go with 2835r
if i wanted do do an economy twin kit i would use GT-RS's
my 2 cents

i think there could be better positioning on that kit. push the top one back some and bring the lower one up some

I have a hard time believing that a twin GT2835 13B doesn't make 400 bhp. Maybe if it isn't tuned for ****, but it certainly is capable of way more than 400 bhp.
