Was just under an FD today trying to figure out how to set mine up. Probably going to fit it between the stock gas tank and rear subframe.. will let you know what I come up with.

There's a company in the UK called ReWorx who have created a tank that sits in the place of the stock carbon cannister. Pretty dmaned cool if you ask me - it's what I plan to go with

It's listed here:

by saying set up intank do you mean that the surge tank is actually in the petrol main gas tank? do you have to cut it open or? stupid question prob! lol

I have my surge tank between the subframe and the factory tank bolted to brackets welded to subframe and uses rubber mounts.
Tank is just on 2L.
Its a twin pump, is fed from factory supply line (from tank into fuel filter then surge tank) then feeds forward through the two factory fuel lines and the carbon canister line is the return back to the surge tank, which then returns to factory return to factory tank.

Why wouldnt it?

If surge tank is always full with having return fuel line back to surge tank, the fuel level will be just as high as the top of the pump body so the pump is not sucking cause its always full of fuel

i think he was asking how the fuel setup post surge tank was more so than how did it work... most of us know itll work just fine that orientation.

basically yes. and i have no intention of cutting it open if i cant get it to fit a desent sized surge tank in tank while keeping fuel float and ability to get it in without doing anything drastic. if i cant do these thins i may use some of these posted ideas to design an external setup just easier fit everything i think if the surge tank is intank.

^yeah it would save space underneath if the surge tank is in tank but i think i will go with an external tank underneath as cutting the fueltank open seems like a bit to much drama for this guy lol the ideas that the guys have for the external tanks above look good so im planning on getting one of those
