streetable turbos
Im converting my 93 RX-7 to single turbo which turbo would be better for street use and occasional trips to the drag strip an HKS T51-KAI BB or an HKS T04-Z. Im looking to put out around 800 horses.

800horses for street??????
Neither will give you 800horses. with a street ported you might get 500horses.
Unless you go peripheral porting or something extreme (drag use only) you cannot get 800.

i'm sure you could get 800 ponies, you might need two turbos of that size plus nitrous, might even be streetable with the streets being so big in the US.You may want to add some neon lights to the underbody then that will look the bollocks when you flying down the street.

I hate to say it mate but your ******* dreaming!!!
Some of the top Australian 7-8sec Rotary Drag cars don't make that much power and these are strickly track, not daily runabouts . Your going to need twin BIG turbos (high psi), running atleast a Richmond box (or better) with huge clutch/fuel/suspension setup. Trying to get it to spool on the street will be laughable. Even a 20B would be a push to make that much power and keep it streetable. How about invest all the cash you obviously have into a quad rotor.

Far from streetable though and a little loud!!!
Or this one... very bloody nice!!! A BMW though!!

Yeah, shutup kid.

The owner's car has 730rwhp, on a 12a engine @ 36psi(I think it was at 36, not sure though) Is it streetable? **** NO! If he boosts above 20psi on the street then his car goes sideways the second he touches the gas pedal.

For those of you busting this guys *****. Give him a break. He is new and is learning. We all started somewhere.
Maxboost808. A little bit of advise. 350 to 400RWHP range, maybe a more suitable streetable solution for your RX 7. If you are looking for more than that, plan on spending alot more money, and having your car, for the most part, be unstreetable.
Check the newbie links at the top of the third gen forum. There is a lot good information there. Research, research, research.....And good luck
