Stock setup 87 TII

Hi all.

So I'm rebuilding my 87TII going really stock on everything. Just trying to make a nice daily driver with slight changes. I'm going to send out the housing to get street ported and keep the irons stock. Plans are corksport 2.5 downpipe, exhaust shop exhaust on back with a muffler and high flow cat, stock intake. I had planed on porting the waste gate out so I wouldn't get boost creep. But from this thread, it looks as if it's not worth it?

Is there any corrective action besides going expensive aftermarket? I'm a classic car hot roder and have 2 other projects goin on, so I'm trying to have a nice car be locost rather than over the top. Thanks!

why? i'd say either get a proper mild streetport, or just clean up the casting flash and leave them stock. there's no real point in just messing with the exhausts. the engine surely isn't a bottleneck for flow if you're going to be running the stock turbo anyway. if you're going to stay stock, maybe try to get your hands on an S5 unit.
