Stock radiator and single turbo?

Does anybody run the stock radiator and single turbo?
I know people are gonna post just upgrade it, why chance it, I know this, just wondering if anybody has done it, and how good or bad was it.
I know too invest in a bigger radiator. I have a new stocker, just wondering if it's adquate for alittle bit.

I have had little problems with running the stock rad and a SP Single. It was pretty much brand new when I got it though. The only difference is that ambient temps were rarely above 28C; unlike Florida. The times I did track it the readings on the PFC went I think 89C but ambient temps were somewhere on the range of 17C outside. I don't think it will kill you to use it but keep an eye on your water temperature.

That would be just foolish. Going for more power with an undersized and weak radiator! That's like having sex with a stranger without protection.

I ran a stocker in my old car, for 7 years. 600 + horsepower. etc. etc.

Not because I thought it was better, but because I'm cheap.

I know lots of guys that have done it. Provided the radiator is in good working condition to start, you should have no issues.

That said though, it's never a bad idea to replace something that will ruin your day if it fails.

If you've got the money to go single (the RIGHT way), you've got the spare change to get a higher capacity, better cooling radiator.

I run a stocker, but also run Evans. I do spirited back country roads driving and a bit of drag racing. The car has never been hot, and does great for my needs. CJ

A single turbo doesn't generate more heat -more horsepower does. The stock radiator was designed for 255 flywheel hp. That's about 200-215 at the wheels.
