Bolt on a large turbo and make all the HP in the world, very easy. Now if you want to run the best times at the track then you have to start looking at recovery times between shifts and a whole bunch of other things. You can make 600HP but if your setup takes 1 sec between shifts to hit full boost again, what good is it.... What is your goal with your car?

Thank you for this response. I have only hesitated to go single because most singles I have gone up against even making 25+ RWHP I have jumped out by a little bit and stayed there. I am slowly acquiring parts to single and will eventually. I just dont want to be disappointed by spending 5K more for a bit more bump on pump gas. Spending a few hundred on used stock twins isnt so bad every couple of years. G

Sometimes there just comes a time when you want more hp than what the twins can provide. That was the case with me. While the twins where fun, its nothing compared to 450rwhp a open atmosphere wastegate, and a nice country road. CJ

I am currently installing 99 spec. I was thinking about going non-seq. while I was under the hood, but with what I am hearing I am questioning this chose. I don't run the strip, but I plan on hitting the track. Is there away to get back the lower RPM power with non-seq.? I need that quick boost coming out of the corners.

Please forgive the cluelessness. This is my first turbo, I've always drive N/A

coming from having non seq. i would strongly suggest leaving it stock seq.

in general it is better to have the stockers setup non-seq. for track driving, you should never fall out of the power band unless its a sharp hairpin turn or similar.

i can tell you its no fun seq. going around a turn on the track at full boost and then have the second turbo kick in only to send you into a tail spin. my .02
