Question Stock or Modification???

I'm kinda new here and I'm still learning about rotary vehicles. So I was just wandering what is a Single Turbo RX-7, does some of the 7's come stock that way or do people modify it by taking one out?

ALL 3rd gen Rx-7's came with twin turbos.
3rd gen = 1993-2002, but only till 1996 in NA.
Another comman name you will see is FD3S instead of 3rd gen.

A lot of guys upgrade to a large single turbo. It gets rid of the complicated stock twin turbo set up, which is hard to diagnose problems with and work one due to the massive amounts of vacuum hoses and wiring, part of which is to run them in sequential operation. Putting a large single on also allows you to make WAY more power than the stock twins ever could.
