stock fuel system/single turbo??

Guys,

It's going to be time for a rebuild.... again. When I had the car torn apart last time a had some good manifold cracks in the turbo and I think that they have started to leak/burn oil as well since. They have 80K+ miles on them now so I'm thinking about going single. I wand one of the smaller turbos to keep as much low end as possible and I'm not going to run much over 14 PSI or so which is what I run the stockers at now.
Anywho.. if I'm going to run under 15 lbs of boost do I still want to upgrade the fuel system? I'd rather do it if it's a saftey issue but if I can reuse it to keep cost down a bit that's OK too.
Thanks

You will have to upgrade the secondaries and the fuel pump.

You will need to ugrade the fuel system. For example I went with a GT35R and am doing 4x850cc injectors and upgraded pump. I am hoping to get mid to high 300 hp range using this fuel setup. Stock fuel system will be pretty much useless for any single turbo upgrade. I will be going to a larger fuel system down the road when I want to get up in the 400hp range.

Dang. I may just go with the BNR twins after all. I want to do things correct but I don't want to dump huge coin into a car I drive once every other week. I have a supra pump in the tank already so I guess that upgraded injecters wouldnd cost that much more, but that also means new ECU possible new fuel rail plus new turbo cost $$$$$ Yikes
Thanks for the help guys.

A smaller single at 10-12psi should be fine, you might want to do a pump rewire and have your current injectors cleaned to be sure.

The Power FC would be a good idea with or without the twins. Since you already have a Fuel pump, you could get some 1200 or 1300cc injectors for a couple hundred bucks that will drop in your stock secondary fuel rail. Then with a good tune, your ready to meet and even exceed your original goal!

i just did some serach on stock fuel system and single combination , and i found this

I want to know, do i need to get an aftermarket FPR to replace the stock one since i am have overbored the secondary to 1300cc and changed the supra fuel pump. I am running stock rail now, it doesnt give me any headache yet.

my current setup: 550cc/1300cc stock rail, race port and t78 (break-in period), pfc, fmic, etc
