The owner of AXIS let is in on the correction. I think this was said ummmmmmmm atleast 1 billion times. Steve never came up with any correction. That dynos correction number has been proven hundreds of times based on cars running at the track and dynoing on other dynos.

yes 12 sec missles! We have a Toyota Starlet that runs 8.8's over 500rwhp.. you of all people havent seen a normal running car since when? since SOMEONE else has to fly in and get your car in order... We dont need anyone to fly in to validate any cars that we put our name on, period. If you need that thats fine with me..

how many RWHP did your car produce before Steve came down and tuned it?

I'll be the first to admit, I'm no tuner!

My car made 377 corrected hp and trapped 122 with ET streets before Steve tuned it. This was at 19psi.

Steve did one hell of a job on my car, PERIOD!

You guys can't stand to see Steves success, can you?

I think you are missing the points.

You are acting like an immature child calling people names and leaving bad rep. points. Steve, in my opinion, lowered himself by even associating with you and your innane claims and posts. If anything, you've hurt Steve's rep. in my book.

To continue on, I thing the "Steve Kan is the god of all tuning" business is a little much. But don't get too full of yourself or others to the point where you are bench racing Steve and his cars against others. Everyone makes mistakes. It's getting kinda old to hear the hype about Steve. More power to him. Just keep it to yourself or contain into one thread or section, like the vendor feedback where it should be.

Now I wonder what kind of knee jerk response you're going to leave...wait, it don't really matter.

I guess you live life a 1/4 mile at a time. Good for you. I build what my customers ask for. You really have no clue about what arguement I may be having with Khan, so please stay out of it. I never doubted the numbers please reread what I've posted. If you wanna believe you got the best tune for your money good for you. AS LONG AS YOUR HAPPY WITH IT!!! how many times does this need to be said. If you go to the track and lay down the law, awsome.

You say I praise Steves work too much? People are allowed to badmouth and slander all day long on here but when it comes to prasing someones work, I get harrassed? Somethings not right about that.

I'm not associated to anyone but myself. I don't go behind anyone after I tuned them to priase about me on the forum. If they feel the need to say anything, its up to them. Its out of my control. However, when I post anything on the forum, its always the truth and things I was told. I don't exaggerate anything nor do I deceive anyone.

The problem here is really between me and A-spec. things started a few years ago and alot of people doesn't know the truth behind it. I prefer keeping it out of the forum. If neither sean nor steve would always jump into any conversations I posted, I could care less how they treated their customer. You don't see me jumping into their GT35 turbo kit, GT40 kit or the GT42 kit section and talk bad on public. I do find it humrous that when someone asked why their A-spec kit was making low hp, they always tend to say it wasn't even in the turbo's efficiency range yet.


BTW, SEAN the stuff you're talking about came directly from your customer and not me. I have not say one bad word about you guys in front of anyone that I tuned. They always asked me what I think about you guys and I always tell them no comment. While performing tuning, there're things that I feel should be done in a certain way and was done way wrong. I would point that out to them and let them know what they were and I would attempt to fix it. If they feel that it was your companies fault, that's their opinion.

As for the dyno #'s, I said that it seems right based on the 20% added according to the owner of the dyno. dave's car should make around 38xishrwhp range. You guys were the one that has to say it was wrong on the post Lupe posted. Not me. I'm just asking you why if *I* am exaggerating those numbers, why is dave's car making low numbers? if the 20% is over-rated and that your claim as advertised don't match up. You have to remember that three of the five cars on the dyno, I had a good idea on what it should make based on injector time, mods, and engine configurations. I wouldn't agree with the 20% estimate if it was way off.

As for my experiences with tuning. I have been doing this since 95 (around the same time Kevin Wyum made 11's with stock turbos). I used to talk to him daily about tuning so if anything, kevin is what motivated me. I have done haltech tuning since 97 and pfc tuning since 2001. microtech, AEM, autoronics and a few others since 2002-2003. There's nothing new in tuning to me other than learning the interface.

since steve wanted to bring up about 500rwhp #'s. That is so 90's in my book. I was making that back in 98 and 600rwhp in 2000. I was probably one of the few that tried n2o in rotaries back in the 90's. there's nothing new or special about 500rwhp mark to me.

Power is power, it doesn't matter how or what you use it for. The question here is who is capable of tuning big hp and who has the most experience.

Agreed, and I personally feel I would look elsewhere first. If POWER and BIG HP numbers were the goal. That is MY opinion you don't have to agree with it. As stated we run a 8 sec starlet. Average ports, alcohol, smallish turbo. So is that not fast enough?? How many others posting in here are running a 8sec anything?Most of my customers a circut cars ie. Carlos, Crew, Felber, etc. I personally like it that way. Anybody can go fast in a straight line.

You automatically think that Steve badmouths your turbokit........... you're wrong. I asked him about it when Dave was on the dyno. He said it's a good street turbo. He did nothing but help Dave. I never heard one bad remark come out of his mouth. You're making things up, dude.

ps..... I still think you would get more business if Steve Kan was in charge of your tuning. Just think of all the high hp cars that Aspec would be putting out.

you're funny lupe. You know that will never happen since they always claimed I detune their customers car on purpose many times in the past.

If anything, John's TII car is more detuned than the rest of them.

Prove to us how this turbo whooped up on a gt35r....I don't see it unless you compair it to some of the worst running examples. Stop filling this community with bullshit. Ether back up this claim with VALID examples or MODs close this thread.

This isn't aimed any any one person, but all the missinformation on this forum is ******* rediculous.

Come on guys this thread went from dyno #’s to who’s dick is the biggest, Come on either get over the past or fight to the death. I know I probably shouldn’t open my mouth in this situation but it’s getting ******* ridiculous..

Steve is a great tuner, A-spec are great tuners, , You dynoed and it made hp, how much your trap speeds will tell.

Poweraxle has helped me with questions current and in the past doesn’t mean I’m partial to him
Steve tuned my car and will be tuning it again, doesn’t mean I’m partial to him.

My car was tuned prior to Steve by a forum member running in the high 7’s but I still think his map was awesome. And still seek his knowledge for things.

Guys we will find people we like and hate in life, just as we will find mechanics and tuners we like and dislike. For a while I hated Dave from KDR b/c he miss diagnosed a bad coolant seal and was on the ITO team for a while. Now that I grew up and 4 years went past I realized there was no reason to bash a man who busts his *** to help us. I’m not looking for the whole lets get along bull **** but just don’t squabble like little girls just b/c you can.


Everyone knows how you all feel now; I hope you got it out of your systems,

Now can we get back to going fast and smoking those obsolete design piston cars?

The AF61R is a KICK *** turbo, at a kick *** price ... period. The GT35R is a more 'proven' turbo, and also kicks ***, but is more expensive ... period.

All this other personal bullshit is retarded, and I'm sick of it on my forum! Knock it off or I'm going to get involved. I know the thread is closed, but I'm still saying this.

Shawn and Steve, cool it. Kan and Eric, cool it. And Steve, get that **** out of your avatar text, you're only trying to stir the pot.
