Staged dual walbro 400 piggyback methanol
Iv recently completed the fuel setup for a 20b swap.
1680/850cc
Dual walbro 400 each powered 12v on 40amp relays
-8 feed, aeromotive fpr, and stock return
Iv staged the pumps. One is wired to the ecu and a switch to run full time. The other pump is sharing the trigger wire from the methanol boost sensor switch which activates at 10psi.
The 20b should produce roughly 500rwhp @ 10psi. I know from my 13b single setup that one walbro 400lph is enough for 550rwhp when coupled with methanol at 10psi.
So, if both the methanol and 2nd pump activate at 10psi, will this be sufficient to provide fuel correctly for higher boost? Will I run into transition problens with tuning?
I like the fact that only one switch is used rather then setting up a second switch for the fuel pump.
Does anyone see any objections to this idea?
