A-Spec 35r T3 be upgraded?

I was wondering if the GT35R T3 can be upgraded to the new billet wheel (HTA)?

I just purchased an R1 with a A-spec tuning 35r kit on it and want to go a little bigger and was thinking this would be the cheapest option.

Any thoughts?

I would be using the T4 version to increase efficiency, and have a divided housing for best performance. But yes, it can be upgraded to a billet compressor from Precision or Forced Performance.

Thanks for the input guys. I would have to change my A-spec manifold to a divided t4. At that point I would think it would be easier to seel the kit I have and just buy a new one. No?

You can upgrade the comp wheel to a slightly larger wheel, but the effect's on performance will be minimal on lower boost levels. If your attempting to make more power at the same boost level your most efficient way will be to move to a T4. For you the nice thing is you have the turbo, so buying the kit minus the turbo isn't too bad.

The t4's don't take a beating like the t3 does. Aspec would def be able to help or any respectable shop for that matter
