usally about 15k is normal. after this starts become a little harder.
if your running a lot of boost it is wise to go with four trailing plugs (9's, they have two blue strips around the top), instead of the two 7's and two 9's.
the 9's will wick heat away faster which helps reduce the chance of detination..

Depends on what type of plugs you are running.
Platinum last longer than the non-platinum that were used for the FC. But the non-platinum are cheaper.
Non-platinum would not last 15K. I use them and change twice a year or about every 4000 miles.
