Talking Single Turbo Water Injection

This is to all single turbo owners, do not waste your time going on the AI forum, I ahve AGAIN been baned for doing nothing but sharing fatual/honest information.

If you want any advise form people who know what they are talking about I will be posting my single turbo experience in this thread and complementing it with WI technologies, its sad I am targeted because I am delivering results the pretenders cannot.

522.5rwhp on dyno dynamics machine
T51
Cosmo donk semi bridge

I will get the owner to post in this thread to give details of his ride. And new sheet will be up soon at full boost.

thanks for all your support

yes mate, please send me a PM as its easier for me to follow off there.

I still cannot believe the absolute hypocrits who run that sub forum, even when others come out with evidence to back up my assertion all that is left for them is a ban mentality. It is very very poor and I highly recommend no one look for any type of information from that site as a result of this one sided treatment.

Its not just me there are lots who are being victimized at the hands of a few wannabe's who between them know very little which is the most disturbing element to all of this.

Now back on topic

Thumbs up The facts

Since I cant type back in the other thread in the propoganda forum and crispeed typed up his resoponce casting doubt on the dyno figure I posted (or in genreral of what others might do).

Below is what we do !
A modified RX8 (with full exhaust) on the same dyno registers

167rwhp

V's

522.5rwhp

These are not BS figures like some doubters amy imply or suggest either by accident or otherwise

Dyno Dynamics as we use them always read much lower than a dynojet unit, if an uncruplious owner wants to rig something they can on any system, we are nto about hype only real results, happy to prove it to anyone......... cheers

When did I ever say I doubt the dyno figures?
My reply was to compare both dynos.
I really don't give a **** about the actual power figure to tell you the truth and I know you know me better than that. The more power you make the happier I'm for you. All I care about are the end results.
If you really want to see doubters cast their opinion then let me post the power numbers I have made without water injectiion and on pump gas!
If anything the dyno proves is the amount of boost that can be safely ran with water injection and low octane fuel. Who gives what the dyno reads.
Unless you guys are in some competition to see who makes the most power with water injection then I will sit back with the popcorn and just enjoy the comedy!

No mate, you know me too

I am just stating what we have done and what the dyno reads on some examples, others can make their minds up for that. As its set they read much lower than a dyno jet.

We dont tune for dyno numbers either, no one serious I know does

I will post up some on road video soon for all of you to keep entertained

Hi Crispeed, havent talked to you in awhile. Have you used E85 on a rotary yet. I put it in my 02 vette and made 667 rwhp and only had to add about 35% more fuel, and it loves boost with timing. I know you used methenol in the past but said you had to use an lot of injectors and fuel?

Hey mate

Your LIM and Pan turned up 2 days ago, cant wait to try it out.

I will PM you. Alcohol blended fuels are being used here too but the BIG problem is it reduces your fuel system capacity so with water injection its actualy a step backwards in terms of total energy content you can exploit to make power. If you have the fuel system though you can use it then as you have found

Going back to dyno this weekend time permiting, there will be some stronger numbers on display soon.

And expect alot more, there is some more cars lined up of various combo's that will appeal to all potential single turbo owners out there.

Cheers

Ralph Xcessive Also Hi Rice
What's up Ralph.
Have not played with E-85. Wish I could though. It's just not available in my part of the woods as of yet. I think they don't want to deliver it anywhere 'south of the border'.
How much boost were your running? You added 35% more fuel over what you were running before with regular fuel?
Ethanol is actually no where as corrosive as the other alcohol/methanol fuels especially when it's blended like in the E-85 formula.
On a rotary you'll need a minimum of 2.2 times the fuel when running on 100%Methanol. That's also application dependant just like ignition timing. I know people running 23 to 25 degrees at 40psi with no split!
Anyway this is Peter's WI thread and we should not be changing the topic. Probably you should start a new thread to discuss your findings before we both have to 'eat c...k' .

Hi chris, I was running 12psi on a centrifical blower with 10:75 1 compression ,stock motor
but I went from 11deg 5-7k to 22deg and added 6-8 degrees all under 5krpms. I maxed out
a set of 65lb injectors and it gets lean on top about 13:2 but theres is no KNOCK!!! The only other thing I did is put in a Triple carbon tilton cluth that weighs 11lbs with flywheel. The car is a gas to drive. I have put 35K miles on it the last two years and its still running strong!!
Ralph
Sorry for jacking the thread Rice Ill shut up now.

Chris, your experience with running 100% alcohol. Do these rotaries detonate at all or does something else break/melt/burn first ?

Tilton doesnot make a kit, but the regular triple carbon and hydrolic throwout bearing can work, but you need a flywheel. Ari had or new someone that had done one.

Thumbs up

I will just machine my own up and make a new hub, if you can let me know the price for a blank hub that would be great or i may just make my own if its way too much.

Talking new figure

dyno'd 578rwhp last night with the Capella/RX2

The details are up in the AI section.

Pump and Water Injection, chicks love it Little bit more to go on current injector combo as boost was droping at peak power, then need to put in bigger injectors and give it full power.

just to make sure everyone is clear on this...

Rice made 578 rwhp on PUMP GAS ( ok 98 RON which is 94 on our PON scale).

with a little help from some water.

does anyone know if this is a record? i am a big fan of pump and water and/or alcohol and Rice has really put up a number.

he will be getting his "500 on Pump & AI" decal and name up in lights just as soon as some wizard designs us a decal.

578 on 94 PON.... WOW. and on his birthday. Peter buy a lottery ticket quick.

Thanks again Howard, really need to emphasis this is a 100% street car in every respect, full length exhaust, air filter, common average spark plugs, no poping of hood to change anything to achieve runs. Just fill it with pump petrol (no alky blends) and water and away you go.

Hope to add sheet today once it gets sent through to me

If we had more injector could use meth blends and make more power easily but have not reached limits yet on this set up so will keep you all updated as it progresses on. Next official club dyno day is in 2 months and should put on a good showing there, till then its lots of driving and enjoyment for the owner

Showoff.
Now you're gonna make the price of 'water' go up!
Another method to deplete the world of it's natural water supply!
