Single Turbo vs N/A

Lately I've driven some N/A RX-7's that pull like trains. So I'm wondering what the advantages to a single turbo over an n/a

Also, I just wanted to troll GoodfellaFD3S

there are no advantages of single turbo. n/a is far better performing and more reliable to boot. i like turtles

Opinions...make more power for less with a turbo. If you have enough paper to add more rotors you can have a beast of an na motor.

In my opinion...

Turbo is easier to make higher hp with the right plan and budget, easier on the wallet, and could still be tuned to be street legal.

High power NA of similar output will cost a lot of money, and likely not street legal.

I like both, tho I will add my opinion that many turbo setups can be a bit peaky, and lacking useable power / torque at lower RPM, usually below 3k. How often am I below 3k? Just about every time I shift when driving like a same person. How often do I redline? Occasionally - few times per drive.

My current build is NA, previous RX was turbo. Sure I made HP "on the cheap" but got horrible mileage and reliability. Not a practical daily driver.

I will say that a turbo setup, correctly planned and executed, can get excellent mileage per horsepower, and be very reliable. But still not as solid as an NA. Honestly biggest factor there in my book is 1) engine build quality and 2) the driver
