Single turbo upgrade

Hi guys,
My friend has a 94 rx7 and is thinking about doing a single turbo upgrade since his stock twins is old and leaking oil.
Need recommendations on which turbos are reliable and streetable with big enough gain on the fd.
considering apexi rx6 isamu kit, t04s and t04e with pfc computer.
Anyone has experience with these turbos?Problems encountered?drivability?durability?
Need responses, recommendations and suggestions?

Victor

He shouldn't have to spend $10K unless he buys EVERYTHING AT ONCE BRAND NEW!

I haven't nearly that much WITH the car.

Hey there, Jspecracer7, your little pic came out very nicely, wouldn't you say?

Heh heh... you can thank me later.

Anyway, the T04S setup with the Power FC would be sweet. A few guys around here will agree with me on that one.

Hey Dragon, you like Van's Avatar? I showed him how to use photoshop earlier today.

Also, I took him for a ride and reminded him that piston engines can make power too... Heh heh

Just reading about single turbo setups. There's a little too much damn rice over on Fresh Alloy.

Too many magazines these days making it sound like the 'cool' thing to do, you know, get a 240sx and an SR20DET...

Thanks for the repplies guys.
t04s sounds like the way to go huh,but what's an a/r .96?

Also, what kind of clutch would be good for that kind of power?
A dual plate would be nice but it is not very streetable as I understand it.
