Single Turbo Questions! I'm steppin through the portal!
Ok, I'm about to step into the realm of the Single Turbo RX7,
I have a few easy, hopefully not to get flamed questions.
#1 i'll be using a T-78 or T-66 with manifold and wastegate.
#2 what is safe boost to run?
#3 Recommended Intercooler
#4 I plan on using a Peter Farrell PMS unit
#5 Fuel pumps? which ones?
#6 Injectors? what all do i need for fuel.
Sorry if this has been asked over and over, but i just need to know before i step into the twighlight zone.

15 psi on pump fuel.
A large front mount or either of the M2 intercoolers... two different camps.
The PMS will work but it is a B*tch to tune. I got good power numbers with it but I kept fouling plugs and had poor day to day drivability. Switched to E6K.
Depends on power level... but I would go with the largest in tank pump available. I use the unit from RP.
You will need at the minimum larger 1200-1300 cc secondaries... but the 1600 cc secondaries would be better for you because of the larger turbos you are considering.

I don't know if the PMS can handle them but I would use 1600cc secondaries and of course a custom fuel rail. I'm still deciding on a fuel pump myself. Tune it correctly and you can safely run 18psi+. As far as the intercooler is concerned I like stock mount. A couple of people are working on horizontal setups to work with vented hoods. If you just run the car on the street or at the strip the front mounts are very popular. Greddy makes nice units. Best of luck!

Thanks for the input, i'm also driving the car everyday but plan on getting a beater also on the side, but i still want good drivability. Any estimate on install time and tuning time it took most of you to get urs running correctly? i plan on having all my things together by august and doing the install myself.
From what I have been told the hardest part is removing the stock twins and manifold. I had never done it before and removed mine in approx. 4 hrs, although I was half way goofing around with my friends during a large part of that time. You should consider installing a front mount will take much longer than a stock mount, and things like choosing to run ss fuel line will add to the time.
