single turbo question intake vacuum line

On the stock twins setup, there's a vacuum line that leads from the rats nest to the intake pipe (in front of the primary turbo) 90 degree elbow

I believe the 2 lines are:
Oil Injection vacuum line and intake air bleed socket

When you go single, can I just cap that off? Or are those needed for the car to run right?

I'm following directions from this site, page 10 step 21

Oil Injection vacuum line and "positive crankcase breathing".
