Single turbo progress pics...

What's up guys. I'm semi-new to the forums. I j ust got some pics from the shop building my manifold/dp/ic setup. My secondary turbo **** out on me about 3 months ago so I decided it was time to take the plunge.

Mods
Stock port Reman'd motor with 7k miles
Precision T4/PT67
Tial 44mm WG
4" DP
Custom V-mount
HKS SSQV bov
AEM EMS
AEM ignition
ACT sprung 6 puck
850cc primaries
1600cc secondaries
Dual Walbro 255lph pumps
Aeromotive FPR

Fabrication should be finishing up any day on the dp, and ic setup. As soon as it's done I'll be finding a dyno in hopes over somewhere between 450-500whp if at all possible. Well, just thought I'd share some of my excitement.

www.straightlinespecialties.com out of Fargo, North Dakota is doing the work for me. there buddies of mine, and do alot of really good work.

reason I went with them as they're buddies, they're close, and they're giving me a manifold on deal for letting them use my car for mock up, so they can start to produce them.

I'm a little confused at this point how they're going to run the piping with the turbo setting like it is, but I guess I'll wait and see.

Nice looking setup you've got there. Keep it up. And most importantly, have fun.

Here's a few more pics for you guys. Unfortunately we ran into some delays this weekend. During this process the trans was rebuild, and when reinstalling the shifter, and stuff today we found the car had all gears, but 1st.... guess I have to rip it back out and take it back to have the work fixed. Boooo

I don't know the dimensions off the top of my head, but I can get them for you. I'll check it out tomorrow, and post them up.

Very nice! +1 on that IC being huge, I am sure it will do whatever you'd like it to.

stock ports... 424whp @ 18 psi on e85. we left a fair amount left on the table in the tuning department as I wanted something nice and reliable. plus I didn't have all the tools in place that I would have liked to, dual egts, etc. but even at this hp level, the car lacks traction :p

may potentially go back in the spring for a race gas tune as well, but we'll see. I have a couple of other things on my setup I'd like to work on before I worry about more power.

this is one of my projects for the winter. right now I'm still just running the aluminum koyo, in stock location. which is OBVIOUSLY far from ideal as the stock fans pull all the hot air out of the radiator right into my intercooler. but the winters in North Dakota are long, so I will take that time to put together a custom radiator setup, with the proper ducting.
