Single turbo omp question for fd
a question for you single turbo guys that use the factory omp on fd's
is this something that I should be concern with when I go single, the vacuum line on the oil nozzels?
I was just reading this and was wondering if I should be worried about it

I assume you just put the vac line to the turbo inlet so the nozzel does not see boost?
there are single turbos that do not run premix right?
thanks in advance

well i don't run it becuase my haltech doesn't support it. So i have to premix. I hear there are alternatives like stand alone omps you could by from other vendors.. somone has a post somewhere on the forum about it. The new haltech e11 does support the omp i believe. I'm just going to remove it and block it off with the plate i bought from k2rd.. hope that helps...

I pulled the 90 degree nipple out of the LIM (went to EGR I think) drilled a small hole in the compressor housing behind the turbo & pressed the nipple in there with some locktite to seal it.
I'd post pics but it just wont go through.

here is a link to some Mechanical, and electronic OMPs. I have an E6K with an 88 OMP, works fine, but I think that's the only type that does. Carl http://www.rotaryaviation.com/oil_in...p_adaptors.htm
