Single turbo inquisition

Well, my twins went out on me a couple weeks ago and i'm currently researching and saving up for a single kit.

I'm trying to piece one together or buy a kit. I have 3 fellow FD owners who all have different kits on their cars, as i'm trying NOT to have either of their kits.

They are running the following kits:

GReddy T78, a GT35/40, and a TD06.

I'm mainly interested in the T04S. I do autocross and drag race, but mainly it will be a street car. I'm not looking for ***** to the wall power, but i would like to make 430~450rwhp. I know that the T04S kit is capable of this.

My mods are:

PFC, race ported, 1300cc, 550cc, no emissions, full exh, fp, profec b.

If i were to piece together a T04s kit, where could i find a decent price on a turbo, and what specs would i need it. I've searched, but nobody seems to have a definate answer so far.

I'm not looking to spend 3500$ for a kit, i can have a dp and intake pipe fabbed. So please tell me what you think. Thanks.

I just picked up a new T04S (T04 body, 60-1 wheel, .7 housing, p trim, 1.0 divided exhaust) for $650. VBand parts were another $80. If that sounds like a good price to you, PM me and I'll get you the guy's email.

vudoodoodoo, i'm well aware of the kit offered by XS. I'm looking to do it cheaper, I figure i can get the turbo, wastegate, manifold, and plumbing done for under 2000$. I'm interested for 650, those specs are correct for an FD? What power can those specs produce?

Just want to make sure to get the right internals. I dont' have the cash now, but for 650, thats the cheapest i've seen, so i'm def interested.

Ummm, maybe I'm confused... but a "T04S" implies a particular compressor wheel. That's what makes it a T04S. To say that you have a 60-1 wheel, makes the turbo a 60-1... not a T04S, which is a larger compressor wheel than the 60-1.

Nope, T04S = 60-1 wheel with a .70 compressor housing. A TS04 is different altogether.

BTW, those specs are great for a 400-450 rwhp rotary.
