I would highly doubt it... especially not if you're going for more than 400 at the wheels. I have this concern too. I have heard that people pay a person to make it pass but my question is, do you just go up to someone at the emissions place and ask if you can bribe them? heh, sounds a little risky to me. I'm not trying to hi-jack the thread, it's just a related topic that might be of some help to many people.

My car makes over 400 rwhp and I can pass the dyno type (IM-240) test. This is with a street port too.
I do have to install a main cat + corvette electric air pump for the test. I also run a special map that I tuned myself in my PFC... EASILY passed.

I won't let go
You all need to realize that if you pass emissions one place, doesn't mean that you'll pass at another. Every state has specific standards.
For example, IL standards for '93 are:
HC .150 PPM
CO .900 PPM
I passed with a .148 and .836 respectively without using anything on my old setup (HF Cat incl.) That means that I could pass with flying colors elsewhere or totally bomb...
Debate amongst youselves...

See my report here

We do ours in grams/mile not PPM, so you gotta do a conversion there of some sort... but Rail is right, you do need to take into account the standards of your state.

Thanks for the input. I live in CT and do not know what the emission standards are. I'll have to do some research on this.
It's a relief to hear that people do pass emissions with the single turbos setup. Sometime in the near future my FD will be single turbo equipped.
Thanks again!

The only way it'd get by is with some $$ and a ref w/ loose morals.
