Single turbo boost limit?
im asking out of curiosity ,because my uncles car (turbo II built by siguel racing) runs 17psi. on series 5 n/a rotors on race gas (114 octane) and i noticed most people with singles run about 15lbs. on pump fuel.

It makes no difference what motor you have or what is done internally.
most importantly its what fuel you use.
Since your using methanol you can push up to 30psi+ if the fuel system can keep up and the tuner knows what he is doing.
On race gas around 28psi is safe assuming that is 114 octane.

13brew streetport, extra dowell pins and running a Turbonetics T72 turbo on VP C16 116 octane fuel at 28psi making 580rwhp over 90 passes on the 1/4 mile before he broke it open to freshen it up. Motor still ran strong but he was worried so he broke it open to go through all the seals. That doesn't include the breakin time and dyno tuning time. It's all about the tuning.

I have both. My FC will school my MKIV on the road course, and at the drag strip. My FC has run 28 psi on the street with 101 octane as a daily driver(~5000 miles) before I started converting it to a road race car. I am now having it tuned at 20, and hopefully(if I have enough everything)25psi for road racing. People will say it will make too much heat, but too much heat depends on how much cooling you have. When I say cooling, I mean intake charge, oil, water, engine bay, and internally via water injection, and plugs, not to mention the usual water jacket mods. As far as the original question, there are quite a few guys running over 30 psi. As was said before, it's all about the tune, and the mods to support the tune. Carl
