singel turbo info please help fast!!!
I have a 3rd gen 93' RX-7 and im having a new rebuilt engine put in.my stock turbos are broken so instead of me buying the same thing I wanted to switch over to a single turbo kit.my engine is stock, this will be a daily driver.I was thinking of getting the Greddy TD06 Kit for 93-95 RX-7.is this kit very good?how much HP can I expect from this kit?im kinda on a budget thats why Im thinking of that kit cause of the price.is there any thing else, I realy have to get for it to work?if I can get away with running at low boost w/ stock intercooler untill I can get a nice intercooler then I would like to do that, but please give me your input here.tell me exactly what I have to get extra for me to run this kit.or have any other suggestion on other kits?is it possable for me to get the greddy t78 kit and still run on low boost, untill i have enogh money for more stuff like bigger injectores ecu stuff etc....please help me!!

If you can't afford it now... Just save. Don't try to put it on the car bit by bit. Not safe at all. The ECU required to safely tune a single FD is NO less than a grand. Not exactly for the "budget" buyer.

ok, heres approx what you need:
turbo
manifold
oil lines
block off plates
custom dp
pipes (expensive)
coupler kit
intercooler
high flow cat or non at all (not sure on that one so dont get on me)
injectors (550,1300)
ecu (power fc)
tuning ($500-600)
and a lot of other things.
if your engine is old and low on compression, save for a rebuilt. if you try to program it yourself with no knowledge, save for a rebuild. if you try to take it to a cheap tuner, save for a rebuild...... it goes on and on...
hope this helps

The bear minimums would be ECU, Turbo Kit, Block off plates, Pulley kit that has shorter belt and different pulleys to work without Air pump. As long as you keep boost levels way down you can use stock Intercooler and fuel system. By low I mean 6-8 psi. The turbo kit will incluse alot of the things you need. You can use stock BOV and Alot of stock junk until you can afford to upgrade it all. I wouldnt suggest a different turbo kit. TD07 is Base line stuff. There are much better kits with alot better turbos for little to equal price. 2manytickets owns a shop and get you good prices on parts. Just keep hounding him until you get the price you want.
