When you guys vent your wastegate to the atmosphere where do you have it plumbed to. If you could pictures would be very helpful.

also, what are your views on it being vented to the atmosphere

I dont have pics, but I had mine vented right behind the front wheel. I loved the sound, but other people thought I had an exhaust leak, lol

 

Mine is vented to the atmosphere, it sounds like a fire engine venting to the atmosphere doesn't require plumbing, just let it dump form the wastegate. You can plumb it with a peice of pipe but if your going to do that might as well plumb it into the d/p.

There as been some talk about venting to the atmosphere causing tuning problems, because that is exhaust gas that isnt reaching the O2 sensor. I dont think its at big a deal for just your regular joe, but there is a big tread about it in the single turbo section if you look for it

Mine goes out to the atmosphere and i think it sounds like i have a howler monkey under the hood. I can get a video clip or a sound clip if you wanted to hear it.
