why E85? when others run no problem on gasoline? what happened to your latest engine on the dyno? is this the reason you are switching to E85? why do you think others can make this work on gasoline with far simpler systems and not wait many years to deliver positive results? interested to hear your thoughts.

my FD is built dual purpose. street and track. the primary track objective is 200 at the Texas Mile. the engine must make 600 hp thru 5 gears and pull approx 8000 thru the lights, in fifth.
that's 30 seconds at 600. heat is cumulative. a lot of things have to be just right. the way to get them right is thru management. for my specialized situation i needed more than the PFC.
for the majority of FD owners not planning to make 600 hp for 30 seconds the Power FC is an excellent choice. i bought the 15th Power FC that was imported into the USA in 99. i still consider it, when combined w a Datalogit, to be an awesome product that will totally fulfill the needs of most FD owners.

Sorry, I missed that small detail.
I was under the impression that you had bought a Link based on your previous discussions that suggested you were leaning towards the Link Extreme, and how they (the Vipec) are basically the exact same ECU made by the same guy that used to work for Link.
At the end of the day I figure the Link Extreme and Vipec V88 are about as similar as a Scion FRS and a Subie BRZ... It's the same ****, just badged differently and they have maybe 3 features that aren't close enough to identical.

I think he and many other credible people no longer endorse them nor use them, unless you love having every part of your motor destroyed like howard's, ernie's, enzo's, crispeed's............. the list is top shelf and endless, and none of these inc the one you try to defame are bad people!, it is 100% a product problem!, so go wash your mouth out and lay blame where it belongs with NRS solely and only

I didn't say they were bad people, nor did I defame them (iirc, RR came out later saying that the issues were caused by the spark cut on his link not NRS seals. Won't know for sure unless I hear from RR himself). I was simply countering a point - why claim that the words of RR, Karack, Turblown, are FACT while tearing down HC at every opportunity? RR is constantly experimenting with whatever fancies his interest - there is a good chance that 2 years from now, the advice he gives will contradict what he has said in the past. Karack doesn't know what pink marks on seal springs are but has no problem telling people that they are meaningless.

you also know that hc always talks good of most of them anyway and consults with them too? that is the way it should be is my feeling
so far as reading something on the net and drawing a conclusion you and i know that unless you hear it from that person then its worthless
my opinion is reserved until i see hc or bdc do something till then the jury is out as it should be
if there was more sharing and less negative talking then they could get there much easier like others have the truth is out there just type in the topics and you will see it from first hand not repeated or otherwise i am sure even if they were men and not forum types only its only a personal email away to garner the knowledge no need for conjecture or innuendo
i will put it this way, would you take opinion from an unemployed cripple from the other side of the world? who lives their life on a forum? similarly a known criminal who has ripped people off then sells his wears to unsuspecting victims? or would you take advise from people who have a rep independent of any 'forum' authorized party line
there are enough people out there who have these 'home runs on the score board' time will tell if hc makes it if he is honest enough to tell us why this latest effort has not given the promised result and what it will take for it to ever happen

just for the readers info .. the user FergotMyFrigginPW has been linked by IP and other methods to banned user rice racing
.. and has been banned..
its a tactic he has been using on several forums , several times , over several years to yell down dissenters and heckle his opinion from the sidelines
it is not a fair or above board practice
,, some of you people need to be aware that this is one of just 5 accounts so linked to this person over recent years
.. all used at some point to influence opinion and push to peter's agenda ( rice racing )
just for the record.. it is not howard coleman banning people or handpicking posts to delete .. or in fact saying anything behind the scenes moderator wise
.. he has remained silent and humble
.... he has in the past acknowledged that he sort peters input recently on the meth thing -
-at a time when many in this thread where imploring HC to look at the historical use and see that 100% meth was problematic
only months ago HC also went into bat for Rice Racing in the moderators subforum to argue a case for his reinstatement
.. rice sank his own boat at that time by posting vitriol under another assumed alias .. as max kieser..
and it highlighted at that time to all on an admin board that rice had NOT changed his ways and thus would not be welcome back
today.. you have all seen an example of why..

... many people who dont have the funds to test all this stuff themselves
.. and the few who do often arent so brave to post the downs with the ups ..and all are lessons worth learning
