Thats him, we have a winner. Guy was saying he ran 10.8 down in the fort lauderdale area in FL. Then he came up to Groton CT from the Navy. I asked him if he ran at moroso, he said no.. Are there any tracks around that area besides moroso? He definately said 530rwhp on pump gas and 10.8 on drag radials.
He acted like he was the one who did all the mods. HE said he put that hood scoop on the top of the car to create some sort of a/c cuz the car has none..

Sounds like he just bought the car and doesnt know much about them.
According to the dyno the 530 is about right for flywheel at 15-16psi. Maybe he was told it had about 530hp and he just thought they meant at the wheels when its really engine.
Anyway, he has enough power to run high 10's on pump gas and I guess in your case thats what matters.

You can bring back a Rudi look-a-like for me though.

Hiya guys...I am new here and was just looking for someone to help me work on my RX7 in Groton and I came by this post....
I think there is another side to this story...I have seen this guy on base and have looked at his car and talked to him....last time I checked he got a new engine (race port?) put in from KDR with a T-66 to go along with it. Looking at that guys Marks specs he only had a T-60....anyway he is always adding stuff on the car and I think he run around 25psi
dont know about his 1/4 times but he did buy the car when he was in Florida or so a friend of mine says who moved up here with him
anyway..just wanted to put my 2 cents in....two sides to every story and everything...
