Hey, I found a saab 900 turbo and an old skool 300zx in the junk yard today... both have the turbos and such still on them. I dont know the years of either one tho...
Just wondering if either of these turbos are any better than the stock second gen ones (s4 or s5).
Tryin to figure out if I should go pick one of them up or not...
Thanks guys

rx7 turbos pretty much have hte largest turbo that came on a stock car period.
THe only cars that may have bigger turbos that are automolbiles and run on gasoline is maybe a late model 911 Turbo.
Diesel power strokes and other truck engines over 6.5 litres should have big turbos.

The late model power stroke Ford diesels run a T04 Garrett. As for the size of the factory S4 and S5 7's, they seem to be about the size of the larger of the T3 Garretts. Also, be aware that the hot side of the S5 is considerable larger then the S4's.
I've looked around for compressor maps for the stock Hitachi Mazda turbos, but never had any luck finding them. I wanted to do a direct comparison to the T3 maps.
