i know it's been covered, but i've been searching for hours now and haven't found anything. can anyone point me in the direction of a writeup for an S5 T2 swap into an S4 N/A chassis?

that site confused the hell out of me.

All I need to know is

WILL an S5 TII motor/trans bolt up to my S4 N/A driveline/rear end/motor mounts And if so, what wiring needs to be done.

Will bolt in the chassis, but the driveshaft won't mesh with the tranny.

There'll be a heck of alot of wiring to do as well. You'd need an S5 TII ECU and harness, or a carp load of patch work.

Search in the 2ndgen section this is pretty well documented.

If you get an s4 front cover,TB, and OMP (or use premix) you can just use your s4 n/a harness and sensors with minor wiring adjustments. You could keep the s5 manifolds. That would by far be easiest. then run the turbo tranny to N/A diff custom driveshaft that I believe mazdatrix sells.

I would NOT try to use s5 engine electronics in an s4 car. it's not worth the headache. There is no performance gain, and all that hacked up wiring will increase the chance of something going wrong.

How about getting an S4 TII would that drop in/wire in easier than the S5? I know the power difference isn't all that much and it might be worth it?

yes it will drop in way easier if you have a full longblock. Use your n/a harness. do a search in the 2nd gen forum.
