Question rx6 turbo kit??

hey guys, just wanted your info on the apexi rx6 turbo for the fd. just wanted to know the pros and cons on this kit as i know someone is selling it for a good price. for eg, how much power it makes? reliability? etc. any info would be great. thanx. what kind of turbos do most of u run? and what would b a good turbo for me? i dont want to make it a full race car or anything, but would like to have reliabilty, take it to the track once in a while, mostly cruise the streets, be comfortable and spank the odd vette(zo6) or any muscle car.

personally... its my favorite kit because it spools up super fast... has insane low end... top end is pretty good.

the bad.... its expensive.

If you want to 'spank a z06' I suggest that you do not run an rx-6 with the puny hotside it has. Look into at least something like a GT35R T4, which is a proven performer as a street turbo.

Which RX6 variation is it? The A or the B? The A has a very small hotside and the B has a larger hotside. They were also had an option for "water cooled" waste gates. Strange huh?

i had an rx-6 before and i think its a sweet turbo. there have been some with 400whp but only a few, average is 375whp at 15 psi. which is enough to spank and older z06. the c6 z06 will still be a very close run though. it has a small hot side but the topend is still not to bad on it. bottom line is if you are getting it for less then $2k then its well worth it, if not the 35r and 500r are the best street turbos around. here is my old dyno sheet from my rx-6 334whp at 12 psi.
