Running lean at idle!!!

hey guys ummm well my car has recently (since installing new injectors 4x720 from stock) started running lean at idle. Imean my manifold is literally glowing. The weird thing is is that it only does it after the car has warmed up to operating temp around 180 f. also seems as if it doesnt want to idle.

How do you know it's lean?
There's other things that can cause a glowing exhaust manifold (and bad idle)...

hmm well do you have some sort of fuel managment cause if you dont i would say your running pig rich. as in all the fuel charge is not burning in the combustion chamber its burningin your maniflod ie: its prolly buning up your turbine as well.
thats my thoughts w/ given info

Have you verified if the leading plugs are firing? If only firing on the trailing plugs it would idle badly and the fuel would still be burning as it exited into the exhaust.
Just as RETed said, other causes.

Now get out there and do some testing!

Well it runs great up until the part where it gets close to the operating temp. Then it starts getting rough at idle and the a/f pegs 16+. could the ports on the lower maniflod for the injectors to bleed air be a cause if they were clogged?? Getting ready to pull mainfolds..,..Thanx for the help guys!!!!

spray carb cleaner all around while the car is running and see if the idle goes up.. mainly around the lower intake and fuel injectors. it may not be a vac leak but it's worth a check.

also, while it's still warming up the ecu is dumping fuel so this may be what's keeping it running decent until you reach operating temp.

no, there is a coolant correction map that adds fuel when the engine is cold. once warmed up it zero's out therefore not adding anymore fuel. what engine management are you using?

hmmmm, did the car do this before the safc was installed? when did all this actually start happening? after you drove it hard, was there a pop, did the car stall out, etc....

besides the shitty idle, how does it drive at low throttle?

At part throttle after warm up the car seems to surge a lil, nah car has never stalled out on me hot starts fine and everything. After a high boost pull..(6lbs) it lets out a pop and flame from burning rich. under boost iam seeing 10.5 to 11 afr's
