Running in....
Ok, so searching around leads to numerous ideas on breaking in the motor.
From 0-1500 Miles, no boost, little boost, limited rpm, redline rpm....
So I am set up with:
Planning on a 1000Mile Breakin period.
What are your thoughts/experiences and suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
Regards
George

Very very informative..... I have to go for the new bearings bit too.... damn...
Can you explain how i can avoid boost? Any recommended way apart a lighter pedal? City driving tends to make you need to pull up hills and that results in a bit of boost.
I used the small yellow spring (TIAL46) to avaoid boost.... but i did pick up .1-.2 bar on my gauge and logger....

This is purely an exersize of controlling your right foot.
To keep it out of boost, downshift.
Yeah, it's going to up the revs a bit, but don't make it a habit of revving too high or going into boost too much.
Going a little higher in the revs or going a little into boost won't hurt anything - just try and stay out of it.
Good luck!
