Road Race Turbo Experts
I would like to know if any one has used a TO4B 60-1 .96 P trim Turbo. I am a Driver Ed Instructor looking to make 350 -375 RWH. I have been running the stock twins and do like the grunt coming out of a corner however want more power and reliability a single offers.
Actually, I don't have that turbo.
Its my friend that does.
Turbonetics recommended that exact setup for road-course racing. Ian wanted very quick spool and great low-end for coming out of corners.
I run a slightly larger KKK...
Unfortunately, he hasn't installed it yet, so I can't give you any hard data

Jack, you may want to rephrase. "lag coming out of a corner" is pretty open ended. I believe what you really want to know is how fast it spools up and at what rpm.
To put it another way:
What is the [minimum rpm] that you can go [from vac to usuable postive boost] in [a near instant amount of time].
[minimum rpm]
I imagine the results will be pretty similar for all rpm points above this point.
[a near instant amount of time]
ie-stomp it and go, not put it in a tall gear at low rpm and stand on it so the low pressure exhaust flow has ample time to slowly spin the turbo up to speed.
