REPU Dyno 525whp

Dynoed my daily driven work truck REPU. I was pretty happy with the power it is putting down on pump 93 with aux inj in the nicer weather we have been having. Did not have the time to do much tuning on the dyno, at 7,500 it was a little fat and could have probably squeezed a couple more hp.

13b rew S4 T2 rotors (built out of spare parts for 7 different engines) Ported with Scalloped rotors
10.8 afr's
127 deg IAT's at end of pull (Shoehorned in largest intercooler I could, but would like bigger)
1 3gph preturbo and 2 3gph nozzles in the secondary runners with 50/50 water/meth (on at 10psi)
Old used and abused turbonetics T66 dual bb with .96 a/r
MSD 6ad with T2 coils
Shell 93
2,516lbs on corner scales

24.5psi High Boost 525whp
19.5psi Low Boost 488whp

Thanks for the complements! I was hoping to see some gains with the RW TB and hogged out uim but it didn't seem to need any more fuel than the stock ported TB with matched UIM. The stock set up also had better fuel economy and drivabilty (lost a good bit of throttle control) I only put the RW TB on because it was sitting on the shelf from an old build, and at some point I will go back to the stock ported/polished TB/UIM. I would recommend not buying the 90mm TB.

what apex seals did you use?
is it street ported? sounds like a bridge or is that the scalloped rotors?
great bus
luv it!

The original motor had a single small apex seal spring break in half right after I started doing high boost tuning (was built with all used parts except for apex seals and soft seals), so I quickly pulled it apart for new springs and while I was in there I ported it a little more and then hand scalloped the rotors with a template I made. I will have to dig for pics.

Rotary Aviation Classics (Had a coil fail on the aux inj solenoid and had very loud audible detonation on high boost about 2 months ago, still pulls same vacuum and has had around 200 high boost pulls since)

Big street port and with the scallops it gives just enough overlap for the bridgeport sound.

Thanks!

I found a pic of the scallop, nothing crazy big as I did not want to have to balance the assembly but I did gram scale the rotors to make sure I kept them in spec. If I was going to go past a 8000rpm rev limit I would have spent the time/money to balance it. The scallops seemed to have made the tq shift to the right a little, but honestly I did it because it made the truck sound mean like my 3rd gen did.

Here is the 3rd gen with the large scallops from CLR, this car was at 28 psi on pump with a greddy T88. Was not a fan of the body kit, so I have torn this car down and will do a proper build next year.

is the greddy elbow divided in 2? did you find any benefit to this?

It was using enough fuel for 700 crank hp, never dynoed but my fuel calcs are usally within 10hp (the repu fuel calc was 520 rwhp and made 525rwhp)

not sure, but it sure make sense in my head that it would help even the flow a little.

Video from after the dyno of some third/fourth gear pulls, unfortunately it was cool enough that the tires where spinning pretty badly.

Thanks! Early on I had an issue with the eprom being bad that led to some weirdness (one of the first V1 aem's made for the FD) but after that it has been smooth sailing. I have over 2000 full boost pulls on this engine and many autocrosses that I spend alot of time on the limiter because of limited traction and have not seen any issues coming from the fuel cut style limiter.
