Question reliability of single turbo on engine???

Sorry I am just now thinking about getting a single turbo and I was wondering how the single turbo wears on the engine. I know of several people with single turbos that have gone through several engines.

Lets just say if I got the greddy t78 or a similar turbo and ran around 18 psi, how long would I expect to keep my motor running. (assuming proper maintanence, good care, etc.)
Thanks

Airflow and boost is the same to the engine (basically) - the engine doesn't know what's producing all the airflow and boost.

Wear is wear.&nbsp Power production gives you a good idea of engine loads.
