Really Random, but Single turbo = better mpg?
Really random and dumb question, but in going from stock twins to single conv. do you produce better mpg? Most would think so since from twin turbos to a single, but then you have to take into consideration that a single turbo is a lot bigger, upgrading fuel system/injectors, let alone higher boost and more power. I basically just answered my own question but I may as well ask lol.
If you can stay off the boost then I guess it would translate to a bit better gas mileage. But I am not one to say, since I went single to go faster and boost it
Also don't be fooled by thinking bigger injectors = bad gas mileage. You're not going to be running the same duty cycle on those injectors as the smaller stock injectors. Tuners will set it up for narrow throttle, city driving, so you're not dumping fuel when you're just cruising around town.
