Im about to buy this Turbonetics T66 but i wanna clarify with you guys to make sure that this is an actual T66
below is the pictures

The exhaust section is .96 A/R and the center section is their larger Q-trim
It is a T4 flange. The compressor outlet is 2.5"

The most accurate way to know is to take the compressor housing off and measure the inducer (front) of the compressor wheel. It should be 66mm

I cant tell with that type of accuracy by just laying a ruler on the inlet

I'll take a look at mine tonight. Looks like an older T'netics T66. Is that a water cooled CHRA? That turbo is a good one but your hot side is pretty big. You'll be seeing full boost at ~4500rpm, with power peaking around 7000 rpm. The turbo is good for 500@25 psi with alot of support. My suggestion would be to offer to pay to have it gone through at T'netics, and pay the guy upon completion. that way you know it's good. There is at least one stamp that says"66" on mine, I'll find it. The blades on the compressor are different than mine, I need to be able to see the blades, and how many on the turbine to say with any certainty. If the inducer, and exducer can be measured that would be definitive. I'd ask for pictures of the center section so you can see the entirety of every blade. Also have him put a feeler gauge between the compressor, and the housing, and have him tell you the clearance on it. I paid ~700.00 for a dry .81 Q trim. I have not really used it yet, but I did try to dyno it once, it's a good drag turbo, but a little slow in terms of response on the street for me. The wet center is nice though. If you xcall me tonight ~8pm PDT, I will go over it with you. 707-696-2705 Carl

It looks like a dry bearing housing to me. V-band as well, which is really nice, but *may* limit the selection of turbine housings you wish to run.

It looks like my Turbonetics T66. Mine has the bold trademark "T" and a small T66 stamped on the cold housing.
