Ready to go with PT 6266
Can someone with the 6266 set-up please provide a DETAIL list of mods from top to bottom keeping reliability in mine. I'm looking to run between 400 / 450hp max @ 12 / 15 psi or close too.
Your reliability mods are not going to change drastically because you're running the PT6266 as opposed to any other single turbo in the same power range. Depending on your engine build you could/should be able to peak into the low 400's by 13-15psi.
You're going to want to ensure that you have enough fuel (I'd say at least 850/1680 if you're looking for 450whp and want to be on the safe side) and that your fuel pump flows enough (flow testing the pump is always a good idea), you want to make sure your ignition is good (good condition stock coils with an HKS Twin Power, or the Marine/AEM IGN-1 coils should do) and that your plugs are good (the stock 9's, BUR9EQP, should handle it just fine and they are WAY cheaper than the race plugs).
Once you know that your fuel and ignition are good I'd make sure that your engine cooling (water, oil, and air temps) are all in order. If you don't have dual oil coolers I would get that, I'd aim to keep your intake temps around 10-15c from ambient under all conditions. If you have difficulty keeping water temps in the 85-90c range than I would DEFINITELY address that.
From there look into your ECU (I know plenty have, but I personally wouldn't trust the PFC much over 400whp), check on Water/Meth injection (not required, but would def help), and the like...

New wiring harness, nice SMIC or VMIC setup, brand new fuel injectors(all of them), delete AST, Delete FPD or at least install new one, replace all your coolant and fuel lines, replace all vacuum lines. PAY FOR A GOOD TUNE.
Besides that it isn't rocket science, plenty have gone down the same path before you.

Pretty much what the guys above said, they are quite experienced. My 6266 from A-Spec should be coming in any day now so whenever I get around to installing it I'll let you know what you can expect.

Hey se did you get around to installing your 6266........ and what type of manifold are you using and where can get one?
I did! I got my manifold and downpipe from A-Spec (username is Zero R). You can also go with turblown as they make a dual wastegate manifold at least for the FC.
Love the turbo btw. I'm running right around 1 bar and the power is fantastic for a stock s4 motor. Couldn't be happier!
