Radiator and AC question

Is it easy to remove the Air conditioning? I wanna get rid of it since i rarely use it anyways and im going single turbo and those lines just seem to get in the way.

Also, since im going to be runing a FMIC and i was wonderin, how do you stand up the radiator? Does anyone know of any how-tos or anyone that has a write up on how to do it? Can i use the stock radiator hoses?

The FMIC kits contain the hardware and any hoses needed. My Blitz FMIC instructions were correct except for the differences between JAP and US cars which was in the A/C setup. Then my thicker non-stock radiator caused me to have to modify one bracket that attached the radiator to the IC.

The AC is not hard to take out. Just vent the AC system, remove the PS pump, and remove the four long bolts that hold in the AC compressor. You cant pull the bolts all the way out since they would hit the side wall, so just loosen them enough so they are out of the bracket. Then its just a matter of disconnecting the hard lines. They bend pretty easy so its not hard wiggling them out. It was kind of a bitch though disconnecting the lines at the firewall connection on the passenger side with the ABS in the way.

If your freon is r-12, remove the valve core out of the high pressure line and go away for a few minutes. If it's r-134A, do the same but instead of going away, just take a few steps back and enjoy your 5 second geyser.
