My best time was 11.8 . Unfortunally in this pass , i lost to shift from 2 to 3 gear !
Everybody told that the... car is ready for low 11' , high 10' . Everybody told also that ...i need more and more practice , more experience ...etc .
The car launch very hard from the starting line ...my best 60 foot ( with e/t drag ) was 1.5' , but when i change gear ( at 7000rpm ) after shifting... i was out of power ...
The car produce 455whp at 1.2 bar ( Mustang Dyno )
Im trying to do my best in the second race ( 20-21 May )
I beleive in that !!!!

 

What was your 1/4 mile trap speed?

11' flat !!!! in my 2nd drag race !!!!

I win again my class because the guy ( right in the podium ) he lost to start his Sierra Cosworth !! at starting line !!
He was farter than me ( 10' ...) in qualifications but ...finals are ...finals .

I' m very happy with the car , with my time ( 11.026' ) ane 1.44 ( 60 f ) .

what clutch and gear are you use'n? and as stated before are you use'n a 2step?

 

... Thanks guys....... , im not using 2 step ( launch -control ) yet ...
my tuner told me that is a little risk ( for my r-85 ) to use it ....until now i very - very satisfied like the car launching from the starting line ....probably we activate it in the next races ! I m using the stock flywheel , with clutchmasters disk and pressure plate . Im launching with 6000- 6500 rpm . I will try more next time !
Stock gear box with 4.3 ring and pinion !
My MPH was 125.3 ( 203 km )

There is no more risk in using that 2 step with the r85 then there is with any other turbo's if you want the setup for the 2 step drop me a email. Good job !!!
