Quick question about single turbos

I'm in the process of going single on my fd. I have been looking at the single turbo vacuum diagram and was wondering how you guys are getting the vacuum hose on before the turbo (purple line in diagram). Do you guys weld a nipple for the hose onto the turbo or does the turbo come with nipples for that line. Same goes for the wastegate line. Do I have to put a nipple in the intercooler piping so that i can install my boost controller or is there a nipple on the turbo already that I can use. Sorry if these are stupid questions. One last thing; if I have to provide the nipples for this, where can I get them from?

My cone filter is mounted on a 4" diamter X 6" extension pipe onto the turbo inlet. I drilled and tapped the pipe for the vacuum fitting. If you are using an inverted cone tipped filter, some have placed it in there.

There are also fittings that can be placed in the turbo hoses.

For the WG pressure line, drill and tap either the turbo outlet, or IC outlet, or throttle body elbow.

Where can I get these vacuum fittings? What are they made of, aluminum, brass......
Also do you think you can take a pic of your intake setup with the vacuum line going to it?
