Question/first thoughts: T4 vs T3

For 5 months I was running a 86n/a non-ported motor with a T3 60-1 turbo .82 a/r with a stage III wheel, .70 a/r cold side at 21psi, best mph was 124.89. This set up was great on the street and track. Wanted more power so I went with a T66 .96 a/r with a p-trim wheel and the cold side is a to4E .60 a/r housing with a 87 turboII motor that has a small bridge on the secoundary and large street ports. At 23 psi the best mph is a 123. 25 1/4 mile passes. et times seem to be the same, 12.00-12.20 range. This turboII motor has only 150 miles on used housing and new seals so compression should not be 100% yet. Also I am shifting a 7500rpm on the bridge ported motor. the car seems slower then the T3 set up. On the street the trottle response is not there like the T3, no turbo lag on the T3 between shifts. Now there is a noticeable lag. Am I shifting to low, what rpm should I shift at? Motor is stock besides the two peice seals and porting. Will be taking this set up to the dyno soon to get the a/f corrected. Little on the rich side now. My egt temps are 1450f now. the probe is in the 3 inch down pipe 1 inch after the turbo. If I remember right the egt temps on the T3 set up were in the 1500f range. It is a autometer gauge.
Any help and guidance to speed up the tuning process would be thankful
