Question Profec B Spec II Install (Check my work)

I've been going around and around with this stupid manual and I've read a number of postings on this (and other) site...but none of them seem to help me.

Here is my current single turbo set up.

SO, the way I see it is that I've got 2 options for installing the stupid valve box.

Option 1:

This splices into the Wastegate to UIM line.

Option 2:

This would require me to drill a hole into the turbo hot pipe (the one that runs to the ICooler), purchase a 6 fitting, and JB weld the fitting into place.

This is where I need your help.

1) Will either one of these work? If so, which one.

2) If both work, is there a strong enough reason to go with Option 2 over Option 1?

THANKS!

I mounted the valve above anti-lock brake on an existing fender nut.
Com to top of bleed valve, NC to upper intake housing at split.
Make a small shield to cover open port NO.

Thanks, barry. When you say "upper intake housing at split". Where is "the split" exactly? Are you talking about the area where the stock pressure sensor is placed? Between the elbow and the UIM?

Anyone else have anything to add? Option 1 or 2? Or how did you set yours up. Honestly, anything would be appreciated.

My RE has two 90 degree tubes, one on each primary runner, where the LIM and UIM connect. I use one for my boost gauge and one for the boost control solenoid.
