EGT questions, where should i be?

What kind of egt's should i see cruise? at boost / vac transitin? in boost (say 5lbs?)

right now im seeing between 600 and 700c sometimes creeping a little higher due to the backed off timming in my cruise area's taht im almost done fixing

also, should my hotside glow? i had it cherry red after a ride i gave to a friend, i babyed it home and i could see some red by the v-band connector on my hotside, and that was with almost no boost for 5 miles, egt's around 650-675

egt gauge is the hks one that matches a 2nd gen stock gauges, its also rather slow imho

The glowing is normal..... steel will start glowing deep red at about 900 Fahrenheit.

650C =1202F

As far as numbers go I am getting ~1200F at cruise. ~32 deg timing 14.5-14.7 AFR
