probably been asked before but......

What is the max boost a stock TII turbo will put out (assuming the engine is fed a proper air/fuel mixture) without over speeding the bearing housing or anything like that? i tried searching but didn't turn up what I was looking for.

Mine will boost to 14 easily and has been doing so for about 6 months now. Stock turbo and IC. But that is with a HUGE streetport and upgraded fuel. I have heard that 14 is the max that the stock IC can handle. I accidentally hit 16 a few times during races. But that's not something that I would make a common practice of. I would hate to think what my intake temps were at 16psi. I'm sure that they are too high at 14psi. But then again I rarely let it get that high. Hope that helps some.

I have been running 13 psi untuned on a stock S5 turbo/IC. EGT temps around 650 with upgraded fuel system. I am planing to tune it at 15 psi this summer.

Max 16-17psi. I would hesitate going over 1 bar though, efficiency drops down like the X coster after that point.
