Pressure testing for Vacuum/boost leaks.
Ok.I am stumped.
I get the car together and Can't rev the engine.
I had a FMIC on,tested the IC system and found I can Presuure test to 6 psi before the gauge falls.(that is Inbetween the Turbo and the Throttle body Elbow)
Now I pressure test the engine side and the Test gauge will Fall faster..like a pound or two every Second. Can't hear any leaks though.
Any Idea where I Would have a Leak?>..I have all block offs on a TII Lower/Upper..Modded TB.
Another question is Since I can Hold pressure Up to 6 psi on my FMIC,that means that I can Run the car TO 6 psi before I get Boost leak Right.,(if I go to run the car WITh the FMIC.

Air is going to escape through the exhaust ports. You just need to listen, feel, and look (by spraying soapy water) for air escaping from the intercooler pipes, the manifolds, the fuel rail area, etc. Turn the air compressor up until your boost gauge in the car is reading about 10psi. You may have to turn the air compressor regulator up to 30 or 40 psi. That's not a big deal. If you turn the pressure up enough you will feel the leaks if you have any.
it's not like a cooling system pressure test. You're not trying to get the system to hold pressure for x amount of time by sealing the entire system. You are just trying to get physical air leaks (besides the exhaust ports) to reveal themselves.

Some people have gotten tricky and made plugs for their exhaust tips so you aren't losing air out your exhaust ports.
Now you will find if you have intake AND exhaust leaks though.
Not that I think the problem you are having is necessarily from a boost leak. Describe more of your set up and the not revving problem you have!
