Correct me if I am wrong but those are for 3/8 tube and we have 5/16 hardlines won't that cause you a potential leak or is it just me.
I don't know how your experience was with the Nylon braided hose but for myself I personally hated it much easier to work with braided hose.

if the seal is good i wouldnt see a problem with the minor difference in tube, although the crack on the flared hard line will leak unless youve fixed that already? have you double or single flared those lines? if all else fails some nice bendable aluminum fuel tube would probably be easier to get flaired and sealed...
nice project keep it up

Yeah I posted the cracked one for subtle laughs. I did it fast getting cocky. Put too much pipe on the flaring end and it basically tore.
Of course I have the urge to teflon tape those connections for a seal, but I read somewhere that injectors aren't best friends with dislodged Teflon tape.
Regarding 3/8 and 5/16. It looks like 5AN is closest to 5/16 but who here has ever seen that readily available? Not me. It was a pain in the *** pushing 5/16 hose onto the 6AN hose to female connector but it's all good now
I also don't want my stainless wrapped hose like see sawing through my rear diff or brake lines so I am gonna buy those rubber and metal c shaped brackets.

I dont have the pics up ( out snowboarding up north) but i rewired my battery cable. I was a doofus and ran both a hot and ground 0 gauge wires when i relocated my bat. I grounded my battery compartment locally and spliced off that to rewire my fuel pump relay.
I need to order the oil feed and return lines from aspec, but other than that, my car is ready for the engine to be dropped in.
ill have pics for everyone when im back home. :-)

What type of fitting's are those. This gave me some idea's whene i do my fuel system on my car cause i would like to keep my stock line's that run under the car.I was thinking what i was going to do but i can see here what i need to do great work bro,but yea let me know.

those fittings are 6 AN components
tube sleeve
nut
and male to male coupler
additionally a 5/16 hose to 6an adaptor, which i believe is actually a 3/8s to 6an but its worth wiggling on there.
Coincidentally i have a concern with my AN lines. I noticed when tightening them, there is some rotation possible before it gets tight. think ball socket movement. anyone have advice on how to avoid a fuel leak with that?

not yet. im going to plant the engine back in soon. then pressurize the lines to watch for leaks. The one that scares me is underneath the car so it doesnt matter if i have the engine back in or not.
I pressurized the line by hand (mouth yuck) and it slowly leaked. i know i wasnt pressurizing the return line cause that one blew bubbles in the gas tank basically so i have an eye on this issue.

could just be a bad fitting if i read that right. if your going to be doing more fittings like that id suggest Koul Tools. http://www.koultools.com/
makes things real quick and easy.

Instead of using -6 AN fittings on a 5/16 tube (not a great idea), you should consider using these compression fitting adapters:

cone ill have to try those. Im going to pressurize my fuel system to see what it does. Im not even going to start the car, i just want to see what it does. Curiosity :-)
That fitting looks useful, the only thing that concerns me is the 50psi max. If my base is 40PSI and i hit more than 10 PSI boost, that concerns me a little.

I really like your engine setup, but IMO this looks not soo good. I'm not sure what relay your using, but I'd be sure to use a good one, not the little shitty ones from the autoparts store. How are you wiring this up? What GA of wire? Where are you going to mount the relay? FYI: Some of the factory terminals in the plugs are gold plated, or at least mine were on my fc.
Good luck, and nice engine!

thanks Nick, thats why i posted it. I wanted to see peoples opinion on the setup. Of course, NO ONE wants a fuel pump wiring to be crappy and fuel cut. :-O
I soldered all the connections that were crimped and i will mount the relay somewhere in that area. I dont have my concerns about the wiring, but i do about the gauge of wire. Its slightly thinner than the white/red wire.
I wanted to do a wiring job that will handle the abuse of 50k miles or more
