Does it look okay? is there a spring or anything missing? Like I said above it moves in and out of the throttle body .. I am sure it's not sposed to do that, I will correct that tommorow, but I'd like to know if externally it looks okay.

Thanks.

Hmm, I'm in the garage w/ the laptop in one hand and '87TII UIM in the other and I don't know what the hell yours is doing.

I only played w/ the 3rd gen TB and it looks like the double 2ndaries are reveersed on those.

Did you see the last post on 1st page? Let me know if you want TB or any of it...

Blue, I am going to get this working, then i will probably need the setup your talking about.

It looks to me like there is a linkage missing .. that connects that dashpot lookking gizmo to the trottle levers. I see a spot for a control arm to connect the 2 parts, but it's not there. I am on my way now to the Mazda salvage yard in Sacramento to get that linkage, once I get that hooked up I hope it cures my woes. And if I am creeping to much I will certainly entertain the thought of buying your setup (if you know the post that shows what your talking about please drop me a link to it).

Thanks again for all the help.

-Robert

I'm just going to strike a match and do a insurrance job

I replaced that linkage there... but still no change, there was deffinetly somethign wrong with it, infact the whole linkage was not even there. I suspect that somthing else could also be wrong with somthig in the throttle setup..

well, I am open for plan Z!

P.S. is that linkage the rod for the second set of throtte plates, or the primary set?

Anyone have a link to the throttle plate removal thread, I want to re evaluate that I did that corectly, It was months ago that I did it.

Anyone have any other sugestions? I have the whole throttle body apart right now, but I don't really see anything out of the ordinary.

boost

Just a thought but did you check your lower intercooler hose. They tend to split right down the seem, look close because the rubber orings will hold together. This will create the same effect. Good luck

Just change your whole throttlebody and that would eliminate any possible problems there, it could be very well that your turbo is fucked.
