Question Piecing together my own kit..

Hey everyone I was looking around on the internet for some manifolds and this doesn't look to seem that bad of a manifold, it doesn't seem equal length so i just sent an email to the company asking if they will do a custom length manifold.

Take a look and let me know what you think:

that looks like the infamous "SSautochrome" manifolds.. do a search.. ive seen one of those and the steel is really thin, almost feels like aluminum foil... no joke!

Cool

Being newbie and all.. I can't seem to find this manifold under the search. Are they really too thin? Looks like the HKS one.

I would reccomend that you buy a kit, i peiced mine together and it cost a little less than a complete kit, but the hassle wasent ANYWHERE near worth it.

Don't go with a cheap *** manifold. You can have one made for you, or go with an HKS SS or cast unit. The XS cast is also a nice manifold. Piecing a kit together isn't all that hard, but surely not for the faint hearted. You're going to need a lot of little things. What kind of turbo are you thinking of running?

There are many threads about this SS Autochrome manifold. I bought one just to see what the fuss was about. The welds were pretty crappy and the flanges were warped. So after some welding, and milling and making some braces to support my TO4R, it's held up pretty well. No cracks or anything. I should just start making them and selling them to you guys.
