That turbo exhaust manifold sure looks suspiciously like the A-Spec tuning unit pics a few threads ago...

I agree on the likeness of those pics... they seemed like exactly the same thing to me.

to my knowledge Tim owner fo RPM and the owner(s) of A-spec are good friends and have a Subaru WRX and RX-7 relationship.. A-spec deals with alot of Subaru WRX's and gets custom pieces from Australia..A-spec basically deals with all the warranty issues that RPM has in the U.S. also..so that exhaust manifold might be the same

Hi Everyone,
As “Poweraxel” stated before Tim and A-spec have a very close relationship. We deal with Subaru Imprezas/WRX’s and RX-7s on a regular basis here. We source custom pieces for both cars from Australia. We helped and gave feedback for the proper fitment of the exhaust manifold and downpipe (a d-pipe thats universal to fit many other configurations here)..We purchase the turbos, oil fittings, block off plates, intakes,polishing,jet-coating and IC piping here in U.S. Our turbos are specifically fitted to our specs..We currently have a trick GT37 with our specific turbine wheel that’s producing some serious power on the local dyno….hopefully our drag car will be done soon and try to lay the smack down on all those Supras If anyone has got a questions please feel free to call the shop!

Happy rotoring to all!

Response to "Rex’s 7": we do accept all major credit cars here and we do eat the 3.75% non-swiped transaction fee, import duty taxes and shipping

I see that this turbo is capable of 700hsp (prolly to the flywhell). Not too shabby. Anybody have their dyno slips or any numbers they can toss about here? Curious to how some of you are doing with this turbo .

Yes its rebuildable. I believe a rebuild would run about $800, but don't quote me on the exact amount.

Hi Guys.
Tim from RPM Performance Centre here.

Due to the popularity of our GT series kit in the USA and the successful results we have achieved here in Australia and people in Malaysia and the UK have had when using the kit, we have been inundated with orders and have found it much easier for people to deal with an appointed distributor for the kit. Warranty issues can then be addressed locally and you have someone in your own timezone you can talk to about any problems your experiencing. We have not yet had any warranty issues, but we want people to realise the product is made, distributed and retailed in a proffesional fashion.
Please contact A-spec tuning in Chicago if you have queries regarding the purchase of the kit and you live in the USA.
If you are merely interested in just the Turbo-charger and wastegate or any of our other products you can contact A-spec tuning also or myself at RPM Performance Centre or at www.horsepowerinabox.com
